# Teafinity vs Steep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Steep at every 5 days against Teafinity's every 2 weeks. Teafinity's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teafinity sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Steep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Teafinity against 5.0 for Steep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teafinity has 33 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Teafinity ships an update every 2 weeks, Steep every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
