# Cardma vs Video Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cardma at every 3 days against Video Note's every 2 months. Cardma also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cardma sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Video Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cardma ships an update every 3 days, Video Note every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
