# Divine Video vs Mate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mate at every 2 days against Divine Video's every 2 weeks. Divine Video's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Divine Video sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Mate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Divine Video ships an update every 2 weeks, Mate every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
