# State Craft vs Hegemon

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hegemon at 73% against State Craft's 33%. Hegemon also leads on ratings volume (65 vs 3). State Craft's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 23) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hegemon sells 23 one-off in-app purchases. State Craft asks for nothing beyond the download.

State Craft holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hegemon has 65 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of State Craft's written reviews are positive against 73% of Hegemon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

State Craft ships an update weekly, Hegemon every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
