# Notch vs CallShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: CallShot at every 4 days against Notch's every 2 months. CallShot also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and CallShot sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notch ships an update every 2 months, CallShot every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
