# Notebook vs Reverse Audio

The clearest difference is monetization model: Reverse Audio at freemium against Notebook's subscription. Reverse Audio also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1). Notebook's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Reverse Audio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reverse Audio holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 46 respectively.

Notebook ships an update every 2 weeks, Reverse Audio every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
