# Notebook vs InkBoard

The clearest difference is update cadence: InkBoard at every 4 days against Notebook's every 2 weeks. Notebook's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and InkBoard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook ships an update every 2 weeks, InkBoard every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
