# Count Down vs Whensday

The clearest difference is ads: Count Down at none against Whensday's shown. Whensday's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Count Down sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Whensday sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Count Down ships an update every 9 days, Whensday every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
