# 随手记工时 vs ShiftMate

The clearest difference is rating: 随手记工时 at 5.0 against ShiftMate's 4.3. 随手记工时 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). ShiftMate's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 随手记工时 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ShiftMate sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

随手记工时 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 随手记工时's written reviews are positive against 67% of ShiftMate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

随手记工时 ships an update every 3 months, ShiftMate every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
