# Smash Fest! vs Ocean Block Shoot

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Smash Fest! at 579K against Ocean Block Shoot's 20K. Smash Fest! also leads on chart position (#41 vs unranked). Ocean Block Shoot's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smash Fest! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Ocean Block Shoot sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Smash Fest! against 4.8 for Ocean Block Shoot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smash Fest! has 579K ratings behind it against 20K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of Smash Fest!'s written reviews are positive against 75% of Ocean Block Shoot's.

Smash Fest! ships an update every 8 days, Ocean Block Shoot every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
