# One Thing vs Snitch

The clearest difference is rating: One Thing at 4.7 against Snitch's 4.0. One Thing also leads on ratings volume (892 vs 80). Snitch's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 27%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. One Thing sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Snitch sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

One Thing holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: One Thing has 892 ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of One Thing's written reviews are positive against 67% of Snitch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

One Thing ships an update every 2 weeks, Snitch every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
