# Stridely vs Steps Journey

The clearest difference is update cadence: Steps Journey at every 2 weeks against Stridely's every 6 weeks. Stridely's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stridely sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Steps Journey sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stridely ships an update every 6 weeks, Steps Journey every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
