# Split vs Adermio

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Split at 527 against Adermio's 28. Adermio's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Adermio sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Split against 4.9 for Adermio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Split has 527 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Split's written reviews are positive against 100% of Adermio's.

Split ships an update weekly, Adermio every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
