# Orbit vs Repetition

The clearest difference is update cadence: Orbit at every 3 days against Repetition's every 9 days. Orbit also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Repetition's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Repetition sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Orbit against 5.0 for Repetition. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Repetition has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Orbit ships an update every 3 days, Repetition every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
