# Grinds vs StepzSync

The clearest difference is ads: Grinds at none against StepzSync's shown. StepzSync's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grinds sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and StepzSync sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grinds ships an update fortnightly, StepzSync weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
