# DrawAlive vs DoodleWiz

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: DrawAlive at 13.0 against DoodleWiz's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrawAlive sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and DoodleWiz sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrawAlive ships an update every 6 weeks, DoodleWiz every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
