# Dolphin vs Brain Battle

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dolphin at none against Brain Battle's 13. Dolphin also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 69). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Battle sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Dolphin asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dolphin holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dolphin has 1.3K ratings behind it against 69, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Dolphin's written reviews are positive against 86% of Brain Battle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dolphin ships an update every 2 weeks, Brain Battle weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
