# Dolphin vs Interny

The clearest difference is monetization model: Interny at free against Dolphin's free with in-app purchases. Interny also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Dolphin's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 34). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Dolphin against 4.9 for Interny. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dolphin has 1.3K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Dolphin's written reviews are positive against 100% of Interny's.

Dolphin ships an update every 2 weeks, Interny every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
