# Dolphin vs PrepifyMe

The clearest difference is monetization model: PrepifyMe at free against Dolphin's free with in-app purchases. PrepifyMe also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Dolphin's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 10) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dolphin holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dolphin has 1.2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Dolphin's written reviews are positive against 100% of PrepifyMe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dolphin ships an update every 11 days, PrepifyMe weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
