# Komo vs Study Surfers

The clearest difference is ads: Komo at none against Study Surfers's shown. Study Surfers's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Komo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Study Surfers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
