# Komo vs Synaptic Study

The clearest difference is update cadence: Synaptic Study at weekly against Komo's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Komo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Synaptic Study sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Komo ships an update fortnightly, Synaptic Study weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
