# Anchor vs Pomodoro Timer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Anchor at free against Pomodoro Timer's freemium. Anchor also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (29 vs 6). Pomodoro Timer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
