# Anchor vs Brainee

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Anchor at 23 against Brainee's 3. Brainee's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anchor sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Brainee sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Anchor against 5.0 for Brainee. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anchor has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Anchor ships an update every 3 days, Brainee every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
