# Smart Remote vs SuperTV

The clearest difference is rating: SuperTV at 5.0 against Smart Remote's 4.5. SuperTV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). Smart Remote's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Remote sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. SuperTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

SuperTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Remote has 100 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
