# Quick Note vs Mindscope 2

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Note at daily against Mindscope 2's every 3 weeks. Mindscope 2's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Note sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Mindscope 2 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Note ships an update daily, Mindscope 2 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
