# Quick Note vs DersPlan

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Note at daily against DersPlan's every 2 weeks. DersPlan's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Note sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and DersPlan sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Note ships an update daily, DersPlan every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
