# AI Face SwapLab vs VideoGen

The clearest difference is rating: AI Face SwapLab at 4.2 against VideoGen's 3.0. AI Face SwapLab also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (38 vs 4). VideoGen's advantage is chart position (#180 vs unranked) and review sentiment (60% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Face SwapLab sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and VideoGen sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Face SwapLab holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Face SwapLab has 38 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of AI Face SwapLab's written reviews are positive against 60% of VideoGen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Face SwapLab ships an update every 10 days, VideoGen monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
