# Movemates vs RunCats

The clearest difference is update cadence: Movemates at every 6 weeks against RunCats's every 3 months. RunCats's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Movemates sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and RunCats sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
