# MemoLeaf vs Notepad

The clearest difference is ads: Notepad at none against MemoLeaf's shown. MemoLeaf's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MemoLeaf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Notepad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MemoLeaf ships an update every 2 days, Notepad monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
