# Oki vs Imperfect Parent

The clearest difference is monetization model: Oki at free with in-app purchases against Imperfect Parent's subscription. Oki also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). Imperfect Parent's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oki sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month and Imperfect Parent sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Oki ships an update every 4 days, Imperfect Parent monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
