# Ritello vs Lighthouse

The clearest difference is rating: Ritello at 5.0 against Lighthouse's 3.6. Ritello also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Lighthouse's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lighthouse sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Ritello asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ritello holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lighthouse has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ritello ships an update fortnightly, Lighthouse every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
