# Mello vs Syro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mello at every 2 days against Syro's every 2 months. Syro's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mello sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Syro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mello ships an update every 2 days, Syro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
