# NextRole vs Prowl

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prowl at every 2 days against NextRole's every 4 weeks. On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextRole sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Prowl sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextRole ships an update every 4 weeks, Prowl every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
