# Awakenloop vs NEM

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NEM at 67% against Awakenloop's 23%. Awakenloop's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Awakenloop sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and NEM sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Awakenloop holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Awakenloop has 142 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Awakenloop's written reviews are positive against 67% of NEM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Awakenloop ships an update every 3 weeks, NEM fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
