# BloodStream vs OFIVE

The clearest difference is update cadence: BloodStream at fortnightly against OFIVE's every 2 months. OFIVE's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BloodStream sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and OFIVE sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BloodStream ships an update fortnightly, OFIVE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
