# Project Peon vs Flying Cut

Project Peon and Flying Cut both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Project Peon's written reviews are positive against 23% of Flying Cut's. Project Peon also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Flying Cut's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 8). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Project Peon sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Flying Cut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Project Peon against 4.6 for Flying Cut. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flying Cut has 30K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Project Peon's written reviews are positive against 23% of Flying Cut's.

Project Peon ships an update every 2 weeks, Flying Cut monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
