# FitGrid vs DotActive

The clearest difference is update cadence: FitGrid at every 2 weeks against DotActive's every 3 months. DotActive's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitGrid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and DotActive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitGrid ships an update every 2 weeks, DotActive every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
