# Donote vs Notes AI

The clearest difference is rating: Donote at 4.9 against Notes AI's 4.3. Donote also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (54 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Donote sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Notes AI sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Donote holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Donote has 54 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Donote ships an update weekly, Notes AI fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
