# Redemption vs Nevermore

The clearest difference is monetization model: Nevermore at free with in-app purchases against Redemption's subscription. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Redemption sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Nevermore sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Redemption against 5.0 for Nevermore. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 4 respectively.

Redemption ships an update every 2 months, Nevermore every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
