# Cactus vs Fromly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fromly at every 3 days against Cactus's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cactus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Fromly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cactus ships an update weekly, Fromly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
