# PerHour vs HourSpend

The clearest difference is update cadence: HourSpend at every 2 months against PerHour's every 8 months. PerHour's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PerHour sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HourSpend sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PerHour ships an update every 8 months, HourSpend every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
