# PerHour vs ShiftTip AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShiftTip AI at every 6 weeks against PerHour's every 8 months. PerHour's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PerHour sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ShiftTip AI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PerHour ships an update every 8 months, ShiftTip AI every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
