# SensePad vs Console Guide

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Console Guide at 100% against SensePad's 30%. Console Guide also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1). SensePad's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SensePad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Console Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Console Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SensePad has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of SensePad's written reviews are positive against 100% of Console Guide's.

SensePad ships an update every 6 days, Console Guide every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
