# SGT Study Guide vs NYC Schools Guide

The clearest difference is rating: NYC Schools Guide at 5.0 against SGT Study Guide's 4.8. SGT Study Guide's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SGT Study Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NYC Schools Guide sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
