# MathCal vs Board Together

The clearest difference is update cadence: MathCal at every 3 weeks against Board Together's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathCal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Board Together sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MathCal ships an update every 3 weeks, Board Together every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
