# Nullschool vs StormClear

The clearest difference is update cadence: StormClear at daily against Nullschool's monthly. Nullschool's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 2) and chart position (#122 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nullschool sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and StormClear sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Nullschool against 5.0 for StormClear. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nullschool has 27 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Nullschool ships an update monthly, StormClear daily. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
