# DAL vs Word Connect

The clearest difference is ads: DAL at none against Word Connect's shown. DAL also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DAL sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Word Connect sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
