# Peanote vs Decode

The clearest difference is rating: Peanote at 4.8 against Decode's 4.0. Peanote also leads on ratings volume (116 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). Decode's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Peanote sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Decode asks for nothing beyond the download.
