# MedPrep vs RehearseMD

The clearest difference is update cadence: RehearseMD at every 2 weeks against MedPrep's monthly. MedPrep's advantage is iOS requirement (18.4 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MedPrep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per month and RehearseMD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MedPrep ships an update monthly, RehearseMD every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
