# TimeBack vs Screen Time Control

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screen Time Control at every 2 days against TimeBack's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeBack sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Screen Time Control sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeBack ships an update weekly, Screen Time Control every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
